
Trisha Gianakis, Emmy-Award Winning Artist, Professor, and Creative Pioneer, is known for her groundbreaking immersive art. With a Master’s in Computer Art Installation from SVA in NYC, Trisha’s art practice is deeply rooted in technology intersecting the realm of extended realities (XR) with physical art. The result is a series of immersive experiences pushing artistic expression’s boundaries extending each artwork to tell an immersive story.
Using Augmented Reality (AR) she transforms physical art into animations or integrates 3D animation into the physical world.
As a Worldbuilder she has created captivating VR environments such as: Virtaul Realtiy (VR) set designs for broadcasts TV; Metaverse ArtWorlds with Unity, Spatial; XR Women, and Frame art galleries; creating live art in VR with Multibrush; all contributing to the ever-evolving virtual landscape. From 2022-2024 Trish was selected as one of 300 artists to participate and completed a two-year artist-in-residence program through Creatives Rebuild NY. She created an AR Art History tour of the Bronx and also created VR Set Designs for TV programming an immersive artist at BronxNet TV.
