Trish Gianakis, known for creating immersive art experiences that combine physical and digital art. With a Master’s in Computer Art Installation, Trishgia’s art practice is deeply rooted in technology intersecting the realm of extended realities (XR). The artist delves into the intricate relationships between the challenge of being a cancer survivor and inner strength. Trishgia’s commitment extends further using augmented reality (AR), 3D/2D animations, video, and virtual reality (VR). From 2022-2024, Trishgia completed a two-year artist-in-residence with Creatives Rebuild New York at BronxNet TV and she is currently a full-time art professor at Saint Peter’s University teaching XR, traditional art and Ethics in Art and Artificial Intelligence.
